Padrino Teletón

The love, trust and generosity of thousands of hispanic brothers have today Padrino Teleton, a Teleton Mexamerica Foundation program that extends the hope to more Mexican children with disabilities.

The funds raised each year during the Teleton event are invested mostly in construction and operation of the Teleton Children's Rehabilitation Centers (CRIT). This income is already insufficient to cover the rehabilitation of all the patients of all CRIT's. The cost of necessary medical treatment for the child and family are significant, this is the reason why Padrino Teleton emerges. Its main objective is to raise funds constantly to help ensure ongoing operation of the CRITs and favor the integration of more children with disabilities into society.

Padrino Teleton promotes a new culture to support our children. Through physical and occupational therapies, we try to develop their skills, overcoming the limitations they have in order to make their life a little easier.

The dynamics of the program is that through a monthly contribution, a person can sponsor a child's treatment in different Teleton Children's Rehabilitation Center (CRIT).

In addition to helping children with disabilities, Padrino Teleton offers the opportunity to generate a cultural change within families, raising awareness of social responsibility to our children.
